Phase 5 Apprenticeships closed

The current application for Music4Good creative apprenticeships is now closed.

The next round of apprenticeships will begin in September 2010, and the application process will open in June 2010.

We will accept CV's if they are clearly titled (joebloggsCV.doc) and are accompanied by a covering letter within the CV document.

Please be aware that we may not respond to inquiries and applications until next year.

Music4Good Apprenticeship Application Phase 5




I’m glad to announce a new phase of Music4Good apprenticeships. We are now accepting applications for the next round of music
business apprenticeships, starting in mid Sept. There is a short window of opportunity of four weeks starting today (27th July), and
once we have enough suitable candidates the window will close. So urgency is encouraged.

The criteria:
• 18-24 years-old
• Non-graduate
• Preferably not in education, employment or training
• Able to work a full time, 9 month apprenticeships from mid September
• Positive, outgoing attitude with good communication skills
• Passion for music
• A knowledge of the business aspect of music is an advantage.

Music4Good provides ACCREDITED, MANAGED and PAID apprenticeship at established record labels in London. Successful candidates will
secure a job working in marketing, A&R, promotion, digital departments.

It is important to note that there is NO music making or artists development roles within the apprenticeship.

Music4Good Outline



• Music4Good is a social enterprise initiative working in partnership with the music industry to provide managed, accredited and meaningful apprenticeships for young people from a range of diverse backgrounds.

• Working with community music initiatives across London, to access bright, passionate young people from a variety of backgrounds, Music4Good aims to train and provide a different generation of apprentices, challenging the stereotypes of recruitment, internships and work experience in the UK music industry.

• Music4Good manage the recruitment and matching process, making sure the right young people work at the right organization.

• The initiative also provides ongoing support to the apprentices, including weekly, accredited learning modules in Music Business, to A Level standard.

• Music4Good also provides excellent ongoing advisory support for all apprentices and the organizations housing them, advising on mentoring, assessing apprentice progress and designing effective exit strategies to ensure successful career progression.
