Our very own Music4Good apprentice Rochelle Williams was this week featured in an interview for The Independent Magazine. They asked various pro-active 18yr olds their current knowledge of next weeks elections, and what they thought of the system in general.

CREATIVE / DIGITAL / MEDIA APPRENTICESHIPS: OPEN NOW!

Are you interested in social media? Would you like to shoot your own film or TV series? Do you live on You Tube and know how to create video, music and images to share with your friends? If so this may be the opportunity for you!

Livity Apprenticeships are currently recruiting young people for our new Creative, Digital and Media apprenticeships due to start in May 2010.

We are offering you a chance to secure a 9 month fully paid apprenticeship, where candidates will work a fulltime job role 4 days a week at a media company, and study 1 day a week for a NVQ Level 3 equivalent qualification at our offices in Brixton. This scheme follows on from our widely successful "Music4Good" music industry apprenticeships.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate and talented young people aged 18-24, who are non-graduates. You must have relevant media skills such as filming, editing, web design / creating, or relevent software application skills.

NEW MUSIC APPRENTICESHIPS: JAN 2011

The new round of Livity "Music4Good" Apprenticeships are now scheduled to start in January 2011. The application window is currently closed, but will re-open from September 2010.

We will accept CV's if they are clearly titled (joebloggsCV.doc) and are accompanied by a covering letter within the CV document.

Music4Good at No.10

Music4Good apprentice, Raphael Blake and Mervyn Lynn, his senior mentor and employer from Sony Music, were invited to No.10 Downing Street on Monday 25th January along with 4 other apprentices to meet the Prime Minister, Lord Mandleson and a number of other top ministers to talk about apprenticeships. It was fantastic opportunity for us to discuss the successes and challenges the creative apprenticeships still face.
